I recently wrote an entry about Destin, Florida, while we are on that state I figured I would go ahead and tell about another great place to visit. Being a Florida Keys native myself, writing about this really hits home. Key largo is a great vacation destination, wonderful fishing, great atmosphere, snorkeling, water sports, and sun sun sun. Plan to stay at least a week to try to enjoy the many different activities the Keys have to offer. A good place to start would be to check out the Florida keys chamber of commerce for free information about the area. They can help you find a place to stay, and provide important travel information and conditions.

Has anyone ever visited Destin, FL?  I am going to be heading down there for my 6th time this summer. I also started a new website Destin vacation packages recently to share my experiences and provide useful information for those who will consider vacationing there, or who just want to take a short day trip. Feel free to share your experiences and opinions on the place and I will post them. I will have do dig out some of my photos of the beach as well and add them too. UPDATE ! (5/7/2012) It looks like my trip to Destin will be delayed another week, but I will make sure to take lots of pictures and possibly some videos of  my trip.

I was able to find a new source for cheap Gatlinburg Cabins where I was able to book my lodging for under 100 a night. Cabins in gatlinburg are so much better than a hotel. They are more luxurious, secluded, have more features, and can actually end up saving you money.

Sailing around the world to wonderful far off places, can be one of the most exhilarating vacations you could ever imagine, and interestingly enough, there is no real need to travel very far, because you can be spirited off on the ideal Bermuda cruise to sparkling clear waters and exotic pink beaches, only six hundred miles off the shore of South Carolina.

However, the ideal cruise for young singles out for a good time, would likely be considered horrifying to families who are traveling with young children. On the other hand, the taste of retired seniors may lean towards a more relaxed atmosphere with craft classes and shuffleboard, whereas couples who are going on their honeymoon to Bermuda would very likely consider this type of cruise to be anything but romantic.

I intend to look at a number of vital elements that need to be included if you are to experience the ultimate Bermuda cruise, as well as the various programs and special offerings that can help all kinds of vacationers to enjoy the experience to the fullest.

Let’s take young singles for instance. They would undoubtedly expect the ultimate Bermuda vacation packages to have a great deal of partying late into the night. But the hard reality is that many of the ships cruising to Bermuda are fitted with only five or maybe six lounges or bars. One ship, however, has a staggering SIXTEEN bars. Now that’s going to be a fun cruise for somebody. And you don’t have to be an MIT grad to know which ship is likely to provide singles with the most bang for their buck.

This is equally true for swimming pools. There’s no way that a solitary pool is going to create a enough singles action, and so it’s pretty self-evident that singles will consider it much more ideal to be on either one of the two Bermuda cruise ships that are fitted with four swimming pools. Now we’re talkin’.

But for families, what an ideal Bermuda cruise should be like is quite different. For instance, in the evening most parents will expect to be able to leave their kids with a babysitter. It’s assumed that the cruise line will supply this service. Unfortunately for some unhappy travelers, this is not the case with one of the Bermuda cruise lines. A parent of young children would find it less than ideal to be on one of their ships.

But some families contain teenagers, and teens don’t find being limited to family activities to be too much fun, so a small number of Bermuda cruise companies decided to organize something they call Teen Shore Excursions. These outings offer teens a chance to leave the confines of their families and visit the Bermuda sights along with other kids their own age. Parents with teenagers are sure to enjoy traveling on one of these cruise lines.

Most seniors\’ idea of the perfect Bermuda cruise is, not surprisingly, entirely different than those above. Seniors tend to prefer things at a more sedate and leisurely pace.

But not all of the so called cultural enrichment classes that are offered to seniors are as perfect as they are touted to be. They don\’t all cover such interesting things as wine tasting, digital photography, foreign languages, oil painting and archeology. In fact, some Bermuda cruise ships don\’t have any classes at all and just settle for backgammon and shuffleboard. That doesn\’t seem too perfect to me.

If a senior happens to be an avid golfer they will find that some cruises have a golf-pro on staff with a state-of-the-art simulator that analyzes your swing. One ship even has a driving range. But rather surprisingly other companies have nothing relating to golf at all.

There is nothing more romantic for a couple than sailing off into the sunset together on a spectacular Bermuda cruise, so it is no surprise that Modern Bride magazine rated Bermuda in the top ten wedding and honeymoon destinations.

If you are planning the perfect honeymoon you should definitely consider getting booked on one of the only two cruise ships that provide spa treatments to you and your loved one without you having to leave your cabin. There is also a great difference between cruise lines in the number of roses they provide in their honeymoon suites. Some provide a dozen; some companies only provide a single rose. But one luxury cruise ship stands out from all the rest and adds a special touch by having the captain personally invite the new bride and groom up to tour the ship’s bridge. This is just the kind of thing that could make a great Bermuda cruise turn into a memory of a lifetime.

I have touched on a few of the key elements that go into ensuring that your vacation experience in Bermuda is as awesome as you’re hoping it will be, and ideally suited to your personality and lifestyle. And now you know that armed with the right information you don’t have to settle for anything less than the ultimate Bermuda cruise.
